Graduate Research Student Opportunity for PhD program
Deptment: Civil and Structural Engineering
Institute: The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

The Department of Civil and Structural Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University has one immediate research student position available for Ph.D. program in structural engineering. Successful candidates must possess solid background in dynamics of structures and shown great research interest in earthquake engineering, performance-based design and response modification devices.

Qualification:

Master degree in structural engineering, civil engineering or engineering mechanics;

Demonstrated research ability (publications of quality will be a plus);

Minimum GPA of 3.2 (out of 4.0);

Familiarity of programming;

TOEFL/IELTS scores.
